ContactIMC, a marketing and communications agency servicing local and multinational clients, based in QC, looking for an experienced Project Manager.
 
Main Responsibilities
As a project manager, you will work within multi-stakeholder team, acting as a link between the agency, partners, suppliers and its clients. You'll be responsible for the coordination of projects and therefore communicating clearly to all those involved. It is vital to understand the needs of your clients, which you'll learn through liaising closely with them throughout project, often on a daily basis. You'll also manage administrative and campaign work to ensure that projects/campaigns are completed on time and on budget.
 
 

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities
As a project manager, you'll need to:
  • meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their project requirements
  • generate a project work plan for each job from brief to conclusion
  • work with agency colleagues to devise a solution that meets the client's brief and budget
  • present the ideas and budget to the client
  • negotiate with clients and agency staff about the details of project
  • present creative work to clients for approval or modification
  • generate a production brief, review with and circulate to all involved in the project handle budgets, manage project costs and invoice clients
  • monitor the effectiveness of project and enlisting, control, training and mentoring project staff
  • you might also from time to time,
    • work with the creative, clients, and other partners in the formulation of marketing strategies
    • make pitches, along with other agency staff, with the aim of securing new business for the agency
  • arrange and attend meetings and ensure that write client reports, and constant liaison with client service regarding information and all operational issues
  • establish communication flows effectively
  • building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers and stake holders
  • undertake administrative tasks

    Qualification Required & Experience
  • Must have a minimum of  5 years in working experience working in project/account management position within a fast-paced and highly competitive business environment.
  • Communication skills are a paramount requirement of this position and must be able handle multiple projects simultaneously, have exceptional organizational skills, and demonstrate calmness in uncertain and stressful situations
  • Good understanding of marketing communications
  • Project management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to identify problems and offer solutions
  • Good leadership and motivational qualities and able to work under pressure
  • Experience in above and below the line marketing activities, would be an advantage
